Does stamped concrete get hot in Las Vegas summers?
All concrete absorbs heat, but a properly sealed light-colored stamped surface is significantly cooler than dark asphalt or bare concrete. We recommend lighter integral colors and reflective sealers for pool decks and patios.
Can stamped concrete crack?
All concrete can develop control joint cracks over time. That is normal and planned for. What separates quality work from cheap work is where those joints are placed and how well the sub-base is prepped. Our installs include proper base compaction, control joints in natural pattern breaks, and fiber reinforcement.
How do I maintain stamped concrete?
Stamped concrete needs to be resealed every 3 to 5 years in the Las Vegas climate. Between resealings: sweep it clean, rinse off debris, and use a pH-neutral cleaner for any stains. Avoid de-icers and acidic cleaners. We offer reseal services.
